Mary Kathryn Johnson, 80, of Missoula, passed away of natural causes on May 30, 2010, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 10, 1929, in Spokane, Wash., to John and Effie Williams. As a young girl, she was educated in the Bozeman Public School system.
On April 19, 1947, she married Edward Johnson in Big Timber, and moved to Missoula a short time later. She retired after 31 years with ASCS with the United States Department of Agriculture.
She enjoyed reading, working in her yard and collecting figurines.
Mary dearly loved her family. Her caring and kindness will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by both her parents; her husband, Eddie; two sisters and a brother.
Survivors include four sisters, Betty (Norm) Thompson of Bozeman, Alice Bjelland of Seattle, Wash., Janna Phillips of Renton, Wash., and Jeanne Winchell of Federal Way, Wash.; a brother, Jack (Marilyn) Williams of Helena; and numerous other relatives.
Private family services were held Friday, June 4, at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
