Mary Margaret Rehms, 82, of Bozeman, passed away May 22, 2011. She was born Feb. 1, 1929, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Joseph and Leila (Ady) Gudahl.

Mary graduated from high school in Sioux Falls, and received a bachelor's degree from Augustana College, also in Sioux Falls.
She married Darvin Rehms in La Crosse, Wis., on Sept. 14, 1957. During the first year of their marriage, Mary worked as a librarian while Darvin finished college.
The couple lived in St. Louis, Mo., for nine years before moving to Dayton, Ohio, where they lived until moving to Bozeman in 1989, when Darvin retired.
Mary loved reading, sewing, crafts, travel, and she was an active member in the Lutheran Church.
Mary was a special wife and mother, and dedicated her life to raising their son.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jesse, in 1959; sister, Jean Pelletier; and brother, Roger Gudahl.
Mary is survived by her husband, Darvin; son, Aden and his wife, Catherine Green; and granddaughter, Jessica Rehms.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 27, at First Lutheran Church. Private family interment will be held.
