Maxine was born in Clyde Park, Mont. to Emmett and Marie (Shadoan) Keltz in 1922. She passed away Jan. 22, 2014 in Phoenix, Ariz.

She graduated from Park County High in 1940.
She married Jim Leighton Nov. 10, 1940. They had four children, Donna, Jim, Tom and DeAnne.
She worked at Hasty's Texaco in Livingston for 20+ years. She was a lifetime member of the Moose and member of Eastern Star. In 1965 she married Harold Bush.
She is survived by son, James Leighton (Eileen) of Pleasanton, Calif.; daughters, Donna (Don) of Belgrade and DeAnne (Ray) Hager of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Arlene Haugland of Belgrade; nine grandchildren, including Loretta (Bruce) Dunning of Belgrade, Don King and (daughter) Angel of Churchill, and Ed (Nancee) King of Great Falls; 18 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, a son, Tom Leighton; a grandson, Johathan Leighton; two granddaughters, Lisa King and Janice Gustafson. After her passing she lost a great-grandson, Levi Burbank.
A memorial service will be Saturday, July 19 at 1 p.m. at the Livingston Christian Center in Livingston. In lieu of flowers if you wish, donate to Alzheimer's or the
