Maybelle L. Sleaver, 97, of Fort Atkinson, Wis., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at Wellington Meadows in Fort Atkinson.

Maybelle was born on Dec. 25, 1913, in Curtis Mills, the daughter of John P. and Hazel (Brewer) Shultis.
She married George H. Sleaver on Aug. 7, 1930. He preceded her in death in February 1981.
Maybelle was employed at, Badger Mills and Perry Mfg. in Fort Atkinson, Wis. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson.
Surviving are her four children, Robert (Lois) Sleaver, William (Carolyn) Sleaver, Beverly Pieritz and Barbara (Warren) Bellcour; grandchildren, Scott, Steve and Stan Sleaver, Kim Sleaver, Kelly Bellcour; and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Wendy Sleaver, and son-in-law, Richard Pieritz.
Private services were held Monday, Oct. 24, at Nitardy Funeral Home in Fort Atkinson, Wis., with Pastor Bryan Engfer officiating. Burial took place in Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, or to Rainbow Hospice Care in Jefferson, Wis.
