Mildred (Millie) Krueger, who was living in Port Orchard, Wash., passed away in her home on Thursday, July 12. Millie was born in Resaca, Ohio on Sept. 6, 1921 and moved to Bozeman in 1947 with her husband, Albert. Her primary "job" during the earlier years of their marriage was raising two children while her husband was a police officer in Bozeman. She then went to work for the Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service, in Bozeman and retired with more than 20 years of service. She and Al moved to Port Orchard in 1986 after Al encountered serious health issues.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband and most of her Ohio family. She is survived by her son, Larry; daughter, Becky Ann Eickworth; daughter-in-law, Mahala; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Based upon Millie's wishes, there will be no services. She is being interred in Bozeman with her husband.
