Norma Ann (Johnson) Stewart died peacefully on Dec. 9, 2013 after years of battling brain cancer in Bozeman surrounded by friends and family. Norma was born April 5, 1955 in Winnett, Mont. to James and Ramona Johnson. She moved to Lewistown in 1970. On Nov. 30, 1974, Norma married her husband, Steven Stewart, of 38 years and shortly thereafter moved to Bozeman. Norma worked for J.C. Billion for a few years before devoting her time to raising her two daughters, Jamie and Tonya. Later, she enjoyed various bookkeeping jobs around the Gallatin Valley.

Norma enjoyed sewing and would spend hours sewing clothes for her family. She loved spending the summers working in her flowers and garden. She loved music and enjoyed going to the operas and symphonies. Norma loved the sun and would enjoy traveling to the ocean particularly the Oregon Coast. While on her travels, she particularly enjoyed shopping with her close friends and family members. Other shoppers could hear the giggles throughout the store.

Norma is survived by: daughters, Jamie (Austin) Norton of Boise, Idaho, and Tonya (Bryan) Duffy of Billings; grandson, Roman Duffy of Billings; brothers, Jack Johnson of Bozeman, Doug (Debbie) Johnson of Gallatin Gateway, Tim Johnson of Belgrade and Mark Johnson of Clarkston, Wash.; sisters, Mary (John) Edwards of Belgrade and Sally (Clint) Dahlhausen of Moccasin; and her many nephews and nieces. Norma was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A gathering of friends and families will be held at the Holiday Inn Express (309 W. Madison Ave., Belgrade, Mont.) on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 from 1 to 5 p.m.
