Norma L. Cook Secor, 92, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, formerly of Bozeman, died Oct. 29 at Life Care Center of Cheyenne.
She was born April 10, 1922, in Morehouse, Missouri, to Harry and Dora (Norwood) Cook. She attended schools in Missouri, eventually moving to California, Texas, Montana and Cheyenne to be near her daughters.
She married Leonard Secor on May 10, 1945. Mr. Secor passed away Dec. 1, 1984, in Glasgow, Montana.
Mrs. Secor was an active member of First Methodist Church in Bozeman. She enjoyed playing bridge, working crossword puzzles and reading. She belonged to Soroptimist, several bridge clubs and the Elks Lodge.
She is survived by a son, Jeff (Michelle) Secor of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three daughters, Rebecca Gehrke, Jane (Darrell) Moran and Vicki Lyngstad, all of Cheyenne; a sister, Ilah Shriver of Bozeman; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two brothers, Joe and Delmar Cook; and two sisters, Nell Sullivan and Harriet Godwin.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Memorial services will be held June 13, 11 a.m., First Methodist Church on Willson and a reception at 2 p.m., at the Holiday Inn on Baxter.
