Patrice Ann Becker, of Ballantine, lost her courageous battle with cancer on March 16, 2016.

Patrice Ann Becker, 54, was born Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, 1961, in Lewistown to Tom and Polly Martin.

She attended Huntley Project schools and graduated in 1980. Pat married Randy Becker and later divorced. They had one son, Michael. She then married David Rich, and together they own PBR Enterprizes in Ballantine.

Pat worked at the Ballantine post office for many years and took part in many community projects throughout her life, including maintaining the park in Ballantine and helping a group of ladies run the neighborhood greenhouse. She was a member of the Ballantine 5Cs and the VFW Post 7407 Auxiliary of Worden.

Her family came above all else. Pat loved gardening, cooking, her cats and reading. The year before she got sick she took up belly dancing. She was always lending a helping hand to someone.

Pat was preceded in death by her mother; brother, Mike; and sister, Ruth.

She is survived by her husband, David Rich of Ballantine; son, Michael Becker (Susan Andrus) of Bozeman and their children Nathan, Zefram and Veda; father, Tom Martin of Worden; sister, Cherie Freeman (Wayne) of Ogden, Utah; as well as her nieces and nephews.

In Pat's memory, go out and lend a helping hand to someone.

A celebration of her life will be held at the VFW Hall on Main Street in Worden at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19. A memorial will be held at Ballantine Park over the summer.
