Heaven is always full of love but on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 it was filled even more by the addition of Patrick Joseph Rassley. Wonderful son and beloved brother of Mike, Tracy, Shelby and Jennifer Rassley.
The Guest Book is expired.
Born Dec. 23, 1995 on Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. Patrick immediately stole the hearts of his parents and older sisters, although the girls were slightly perturbed at the delay of Christmas present opening when they had to wait for him to get home on Christmas Day. A happy baby, Patrick always woke up smiling and playing, never crying. Patrick walked at the early age of 10 months maybe somewhat unintentionally with the help of the family cat, Cookie, chasing her for several steps before realizing he was walking.
Patrick attended school in Belgrade beginning in kindergarten and graduating high school in the spring of 2014. Patrick was attending college at Montana Tech enrolled in engineering.
Patrick was an accomplished athlete including baseball, basketball, track and football. Lettering his junior and senior years in football and sophomore, junior and senior years in track. He loved sacking quarterbacks and was one of Coach Hunter's "Boss Hogs".
Patrick had a huge heart and everybody knew "you don't bully other kids around Patrick!" He was always a "big brother" to all of his friend's brothers and sisters. He always made time to help the Fire Department with Fill the Boot and the Pancake Breakfast year after year. He loved spending time with his friends at their annual float trips and New Year's Eve parties with his good friends Brandon, Keenan, Josh and many others. He also loved spending time with family haying with Papa, camping and four-wheeling.
Patrick has been reunited in heaven with his maternal Grandfather Charles Wicks and Uncle Jim Wicks along with his namesake paternal Great-Grandfather Michael Joseph (Buck) Rassley and his paternal Great-Grandmother Opal Pitt. He will be greatly missed by his parents, Michael and Tracy Rassley; sisters, Jennifer and Shelby; Great-Grandmother, Isabella Rassley; Grandparents, Michael (Ronnie) Rassley, Ruth Rassley and Fraley Stack; Aunts and Uncles, Sharon Wicks, Jay Wicks (Millie), Ed Wicks (Edie), Terri Wicks, Connie (Daren) Brown, Bonnie Rassley, Vonnie Rassley and Lonnie (Kurt) Lewis; and numerous cousins.
Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, 1 p.m. at the Belgrade Church of Christ.
