Obituary
The Guest Book is expired.

Peggy Leith (Bixby) Horn, 75, of Bozeman, Montana, was welcomed to heaven Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born on April 9, 1941, in San Diego, California, to Earl Albert and Muriel Leith Bixby. One of four children, Peggy was preceded in death by her dear brother Norman Bixby on Sept. 16, 2016. She is survived by two brothers, John (Mary) Bixby and James Bixby; sister-in-law, Marilyn Bixby.

Peggy will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends, her fondness for quilting, her appreciation for the beauty of the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park, her loyalty to the Bozeman Ice Dogs, shopping with her grand-daughters on black Friday, and her love of playing games with her family. She and her late husband Harry Horn (1932-1985) raised their three loving daughters, Leith Ann Horn Bennett of Graham, Washington, Susan Horn-Cherry of Shoreline, Washington, and Rae Horn Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas, on their ranch in Belgrade, Montana. Peggy later found love and comfort with her companion, the late Terry Hynes.

She is also survived by her grandchildren (and significant others) who she loved dearly and made her very proud, Tara Jones (Cory), Brice Dunning (Elizabeth), Zachery Dunning (Tiffanie), Genna Lea Cherry, Cason Cherry (Erin), Kristian Hernandez, and Nikolas Hernandez; two beautiful great grandchildren, Kaenin and Harper; nieces, nephews, and all those who loved her.

A requiem mass will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Bozeman, Montana, in late spring 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Yellowstone Park Foundation or Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Bozeman, Montana.
