Peter Douglas Woirhaye, longtime resident of Bozeman, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 at the age of 57.

Peter was born in Harrison on July 31, 1954 to Deryl and Alice Jean (MacMillan) Woirhaye. Peter was raised in Bozeman and graduated from Bozeman High School. With the exception of a small amount of time where he lived in Minnesota, Peter made his home in Bozeman. He loved the Gallatin Valley and spent his time enjoying the outdoors. Some of his most favorite activities included hiking, rock climbing, low-impact camping, and exploring the beautiful Harrison and Pony area.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Deryl and Alice Jean Woirhaye; and his grandparents, Earl MacMillan, Lucille MacMillan, and Frank and Virginia Woirhaye.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a .

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at the K&L Mortuary chapel at Harrison, with Rev Jody McDevitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Harrison cemetery.
