The Guest Book is expired.

Phyllis May Quigley was born Oct. 26, 1916, to David Charles Young and Rachel (Beste) Young in Wilsall.

Phyllis was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a woman who knew much happiness, as well as some sadness.

She was very devoted to her family and friends. She cared for Bus, and her daughter, Barbara when they were ill. She was a lover of music and played the piano at dances and also for her church.

Phyllis loved her town of Wilsall, always welcomed her neighbors and friends with coffee, wonderful cinnamon rolls, pies and cookies. She loved her home, flowers, and the Crazy Mountains that she could see from the front room of her home. Her grandchildren spent some wonderful summers with her, and what a positive influence she had on them.

She cooked at Wilsall School for 28 years and was awarded "Best Cook" and had the annual dedicated to her three times. In her last years, when her memory was dim, she still had the beautiful smile and was an inspiration to all who loved her.

Mom went to the Lord July 1, 2007.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Wilsall Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the Wilsall Senior Center.
