Richard McGuire, 82, of Ennis passed away July 8, 2007, in McAllister.
Richard was raised and attended school in Ennis, graduating from Ennis High School. He then entered the U.S. Navy and served during World War II.
He married Olivia, and they lived in California and Alaska, then returned to Montana. His wife preceded him in death in 1971.
He taught school in Ennis for a short while before he began his guide service in the Madison Valley. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited, and was an amateur photographer.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert; and five sisters, Mick, Sylvia, Helen, Diane and Yvonne.
He is survived by a sister, Yvonne of Billings; and numerous nieces and nephews, and his lifelong companion, Aslaug Evjen.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Cremation has taken place, and a private service will be held at a later date.
