Richard William (Billy) Saltzman Jr. passed away Nov. 8, 2014 at his home in Three Forks.

Billy was born Jan. 11, 1953 to Richard William Saltzman Sr. and Norma Lee Saltzman. He joined brothers, Jimmy Lee and Lynndale Preston, sisters, Janie Viann (Kenneth) Cook and Kathryn Kaye (Mike) Picking.

Billy is survived by his spouse, Debra Ann (Hotzel); sons, James Richard and Daniel Jordan at their home in Three Forks, Mont.; daughters, Shawna Lee (John) Henshaw; infant granddaughter, Brooke Lee Henshaw; Dawna Kay (Mike) Joyal of Bozeman and grandson, Cristin Caine DeBoer, Rock Springs, Wyo.

Billy attended schools in Logan, Ennis and Big Timber, Mont.

Billy was employed with the Montana Department of Highways from 1976 to his passing.

He is survived by his parents; brother, Lynndale (Mary); sisters, Janie (Kenneth) Cook, Kathryn Kaye (Mike) Picking. Jimmy Lee preceded him in death in 1979. He is survived by several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Bill was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of two and was insulin dependent.

He was a hard-working young man, a devoted husband and father. It has been a long journey – rest in peace – you've earned it. We love and miss you.
