Robert A. "Bob" Faure, 84, died of natural causes in Bozeman on July 1, 2011.

The youngest of seven children, Bob was born July 17, 1926, in Livingston to Theodore and Louise Faure.

After serving in the Navy in World War II, he moved to Worland, Wyo., where he met Viola Craft. They were married on May 6, 1950, and celebrated 54 years of marriage before Viola's death in 2005.

Bob loved his work in the propane business and traveled extensively throughout Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming. Bob and Viola spent several wonderful summers on Flathead Lake before moving to Bozeman in 1999.

Bob is survived by his nine children: Bob of Denver, Colo.; Mike of Helena; Jill (Steve) Nelson of Veradale, Wash.; Mark (Brenda) of Bozeman; Jean (John Kutzman) of Great Falls; Joe (Jenny) of Valley City, N.D.; Mary (Dan) Wilson of Montrose, Calif.; Matt (Lori) of Bozeman; and Rick of Bozeman. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren: Christopher, Ashley, Julie, Chelsey, Logan, Nick, Josh, Mary Jo, Derek, Ally, Ethan, Sophia, Carson and Amanda Viola.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
