Robert Francis Kreatz was born May 28, 1933, to Allen and Zina Kreatz at Wayzata, Minnesota. He passed away Aug. 27, 2016, at Billings Clinic.

He was preceded in death by his parents and only brother, George Kreatz and by his first wife Deborah Kreatz and Jim Hake (son in law).

Bob served in the Army of the United States from Dec. 17, 1953, to Dec. 16, 1955. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and horseman. He also enjoyed making (darn heavy) furniture and woodworking projects. He loved collecting duck decoys.

Bob is survived by his wife, Phyllis Kreatz; his children Robin Kreatz, Lisa Hake, Charlene Karger (Galen), Colleen Cotterell (Jeff), Dennis Kreatz (Kathy) Joe Kreatz (Pam).

He had 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He had a dry sense of humor and a great love of family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at the Gallatin Gateway Community Center, 145 Mill Street, Gallatin Gateway, MT 59730 with a reception to follow.
