Robert William "Bobby" Burch passed away from a car accident on Friday, May 11, 2007. He was born April 7, 1963, to William J. and Barbara Kay (Breeton) Burch. He grew up and lived in Bozeman all his life.
Bobby loved being outdoors water skiing, hunting, hiking in the mountains, watching sunsets with his fiancee, but most of all he loved fishing with his dad at Canyon Ferry Lake.
Bobby was full of life and always on the go. He served two years in the Armed Forces until he was honorably discharged. At the time of his death, he was working for KW Masonry in Big Sky. He loved working and clowning around with the crew. He loved to make people laugh. He saw beauty in everyone and everything.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barb Burch; an infant brother; and his grandparents.
Bobby is survived by the lights of his life, his children, Robbie, Shayla, Meliah, and Christopher; his father, Bill Burch; brother, Mitch; sisters, Brandi Burch (Joe), and Dawn (Bud) Counts; nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Amber, and Heather Fingerson; Austin and Brandon Much. Also surviving are the love of his life, Melany Riggin and her sons, Stephan and Darrion; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rest in peace, our dear son, daddy, brother, uncle, and always remember we will miss and love you always.
Friends and family are welcome to join us for a celebration of Bobby's life at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the American Legion Club.
