Ronald Charles Brown Jr., 53, a 30-year resident of Bozeman, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2007.

Ron was born in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Ronald and Shirley Brown on July 30, 1954.
He grew up in a military family, and moved all over the country when young. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and was a medic with the Rangers.
Soon after, he settled in Bozeman and married Ginger (Martin). Together they had one daughter, Jennifer.
Ron is survived by his wife and daughter, as well as his mother, Shirley Davies of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Linda Brown Yoney of Bozeman, and Ruby Kay Brown of Nashville; and brother, Drandon John Brown, also of Bozeman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Charles Brown Sr.
Ron was a computer wiz from early on. He worked on many people's computer problems and taught them how to work them. He loved camping and the mountains.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at Dahl Funeral Chapel, with Fr. Dan Wathen officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Military burial rites will take place at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Bozeman on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m.; meet at Dahl Funeral Chapel at 10:45 a.m. to process to the cemetery.
