Ronald Keith Jensen passed away on Oct. 24, 2014. Ron was born in Bozeman on July 1, 1946, the second of three children to Keith and Mary Ellen Jensen. He lived most of his life in the Three Forks and Willow Creek area. Ron was preceded in death by both of his parents.

From a young age, Ron knew he wanted to operate heavy equipment and felt lucky to make his living doing so.

Ron participated in various athletic activities, but basketball is what he truly loved. He was known for his fade away jump shot and his skill beyond the three-point line.

For the last 25 years, Ron demonstrated consistent and unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus. He drew great strength and comfort from this during his last few months on earth.

In 1964, Ron married his high school sweetheart, Patsy Richmond. They were married 10 years. In 1976, he married Lynne Porter, his wife at the time of his death.

Ron is survived by his sister, Juanita and his brother, Randy. He also leaves behind his wife, Lynne; his children, Cindy Stock (Pete), Ron Jensen (Traci), Denya Jacobs (Charlie), Shannon Mamangun (Marvin); 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a large extended family.

Memorial services will be held at the Willow Creek high school gymnasium at 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014. A potluck reception will follow at the Willow Creek Fire Hall.
