Ruth Evelyn Elliott LeFever, 90, passed away May 26, 2007, at her home in Edmond, Okla.
She was born Jan. 12, 1917 in Chance, Mont., to Ira and Edna Toothaker. She grew up and attended school in Belfry, and graduated from Montana State College in 1961.
She married Bus Elliott on Nov. 26, 1937, and he preceded her in death.
She then married Art LeFever in 1983.
Ruth was a teacher in the Montana school system for 25 years, including schools in Willow Creek, West Yellowstone and Bozeman. She enjoyed music, poetry and her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Bus Elliott and Art LeFever; her daughter, Linda J. Brent; and five brothers and sisters.
Ruth is survived by her son, Bob Elliott and his wife, Lynn of Edmond, Okla.; three granddaughters, two grandsons, and nine great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Family graveside services were held at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
