Sandra Lockart Jackson passed away on Sept. 21, 2013, due to complications of her heart disease.

She was born in Fresno, Calif., on July 29, 1949, to Ed and Joan Lockart. They moved to Bozeman in 1960.
Sandra graduated from Manhattan Christian High School, where she was senior class president. She then went on to earn a master's degree in clinical counseling at Montana State University. She spent the last 30 years as a licensed clinical professional counselor.
Sandra was very kind-hearted, generous and giving, and she cared deeply for each and every one of her clients as well as her friends and family.
Sandra married Robert C. Jackson on March 17, 1979. They enjoyed many years of horseback riding, hunting, camping, fishing, hiking and snowmobiling.
Sandra was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Clarence "Ed" Lockart. She is survived by her husband, Bob Jackson; mother, Joan Lockart Messmer; sisters, Terry Dyk and Cyndi Lockart; brother, Ed (Kristii) Lockart; nieces, Riley (Lance) Evans, Bethany (Matt) Leach and Heidi Lockart; and nephew, Ben Lockart.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel.
