Shirley Marie McLees, 65, a resident of Deer Park, Wash., and a long-time resident of Manhattan, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2007.

She is the dear wife of Kenneth L. McLees of Deer Park (married 47 years) and the loving mother of Mark McLees of Brownsville, Texas; Michael McLees of Houston, Texas; Curtis McLees of Manhattan; Jackson McLees of Deer Park; Laura Foster and Katherine Tuininga of Spokane, Wash. Her sister, Claudia Martz, resides in Livingston. Shirley enjoyed 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Priscilla and Otto Mittelstedter, and her brother Jacob Mittelstedter.
Born in Livingston in 1942, Shirley was a selfless mother and wife who poured her life and love into her children and grandchildren.
She loved going to garage sales and thrift stores so she could provide for her extensive family. Shirley was an excellent seamstress and loved playing cards and games with family and friends.
Her love for GodÕs creation led her to gardening and fishing. Shirley was a beautiful woman that touched our lives deeply.
Shirley was laid to rest on Friday, June 8, in Deer Park at the Woodland Cemetery.
