On Weds, Dec. 31, Sid Blanksma went home to be with his Lord. Sid worked his whole life as a truck driver, farmer, and mechanic.
The Guest Book is expired.
He had a gift for working with his hands and spent a great deal of time doing woodwork. However, Sid's real passion was his Lord and his family. Sid was involved in his church, serving as a deacon and an elder. In his 54 years of marriage to Marlene Fay (Karp) they enjoyed living in many different locations that they called home.
Sid is survived by his wife Marlene Blanksma (Karp); daughters Deb Tinklenberg (Dave), Carla Dyk (Mel), and Cheri Moss (Ron); son Ken Blanksma (Joyce); and thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother, and a granddaughter.
Memorials can be made to Love INC. P.O. Box 7117 Bozeman, MT 59771
Graveside services to celebrate his life will be held on January 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Churchill cemetery, followed by a service at Manhattan Christian Reformed Church at 10:30 a.m. www.dokkennnelson.com
