Steven Everett Vestman died of heart failure on June 4, 2012 in Bozeman. He was born Aug. 27, 1963 in Great Falls. He graduated from Great Falls High School in 1981 and received a football scholarship to Montana State University – Bozeman. He played for the Bobcats and was a member of the National Football Team in 1984. The team was later inducted into the Bobcat Hall of Fame in 1994.

Steven married Heidi Czorny in 1989, and they later divorced. He enlisted in the Army where he served four years, during which time he served in Operation Desert Storm. Upon his discharge, he resided in Bozeman, where he enjoyed honing his skills as a woodworker and master fisherman. The greatest joy of Steven's life was the birth of his son, Kade, on Feb. 27, 2006.
Surviving Steven are his son, Kade Everett Czorny Vestman; his mother, Lynette Amdahl (Richard Amdahl); his sister, Debra Benes; his brother, Calvin Warrington (Shelby Warrington); his sister, Suzanne Warrington; and his brother, Victor Vestman. Steven also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and at his request there will be no services. A celebration of Steven's life is being planned for Aug. 25 in Great Falls at the Veterans Memorial Wall. For further information please respond by email to email@example.com.
