Sue Ann "Suzie" Haggerty, 72, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, from complications of an emergency surgery in Bozeman, Montana.
The Guest Book is expired.
At 16, Suzie came to Montana for the summer and then came to stay in Bozeman at age 18. She attended MSU to study Agriculture and met the love of her life, Tommy Haggerty. For over 50 years, Suzie ran a variety of businesses including construction, rental housing, garbage, and raising kids. She opened her life to wandering souls to share a good meal, war stories, and cigarettes in the spirit of helping others up by their bootstraps.
Suzie was one of a kind and forever in our hearts. The family is grateful for all the loving and caring friends that surrounded their mother and miss her as much as they do.
Suzie's Memorial Service will be held at the Bozeman Ponds Pavilion on Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. A beautiful oak tree is planted there in her memory. Please RSVP at http://evite.me/qD8cAJhWka.
If you want to donate in her name, please sponsor a local student to get their GED (now called the HISET exam) via the Jerry Crabs HiSET Scholarship Fund.
