Teresa B. Dixon passed away July 6, 2007, at home after a brief illness. She was born Feb. 13, 1929, to Francisco Alonso and Maria Teresa Montes in Mexico City.
The Guest Book is expired.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Alicia; her brother, Carlos; and by her daughter-in-law, Rita Buffington. She also was preceded in death by husbands, Burton Buffington in 1957, and Kenneth Dixon in 1994.
She is survived by her son, George Buffington and his wife, Carol; her beloved family in Mexico; and friends throughout the United States.
She and husband, Ken Dixon, owned and operated Cecil's Restaurant in Gardiner for 27 years until his death, after which she retired and moved to Bozeman.
Teresa was loved dearly by all who had the privilege to know her, for her generous heart and welcoming arms. Her intelligence and fast wit were present in every circumstance. Her family wishes to celebrate her life, not her passing. A memorial Mass is pending.
Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.
