Theodore Jay "T.J." Koenig passed away May 1, 2012. We will miss his love, his sense of humor, his generosity, his young-at-heart spirit, his smile and his hugs. He was 34.

T.J. was born May 3, 1977 in Kalispell. He attended Russell Elementary School and graduated from Flathead High School in 1995. He studied electrical engineering at Montana State University, and most recently worked at Simkins Hallin Lumber Co. in Bozeman.

He married his childhood sweetheart, Amanda Miller, on June 15, 2002, in Somers.

T.J. loved traveling and adventure, including skydiving and zip-lining; he was an avid sports fan, and especially loved the New York Giants and Kansas City Royals. He loved his family, Flathead Lake, fast cars and his dog, Baxter.

T.J. was beloved by his wife, Amanda Miller Koenig of Bozeman; father, Delbert Koenig, mother, Virginia Koenig, his Aunt Carol Koenig, his mother-in-law, Emy Minnich, and father-in-law, Doug Miller, all of Kalispell; and his brother, Don Koenig, sister-in-law, Jennifer, and three nieces, Clara, Lucy and Joleigh, all of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; and his sister-in-law, Lindsay Minnich of Bozeman.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claribell and Don Jordan, and Elizabeth and Al Koenig, all of Kalispell.

A celebration of T.J.'s life is planned for this summer.
