Thomas Dolson Hallam was born Oct. 19, 1926, in Thoeny, Montana, and passed away in Meza, Arizona, on Oct. 7, 2014, at the age of 87.

Tom was the son of Keene "OK" Orval Hallam and Nellie Irene Dolson Hallam. Tom's two brothers preceded him in death, J. "Jack" Foster Hallam in October 1985, and Orval Keith Hallam in February 2012. Tom had two sons and two wives precede him in death, sons Thomas Dale Hallam in May 1970 and Richard "Dick" Keene Hallam in February 2014, and wives Violet Faye Plum Hallam in June 1980 and Edith Kipp Hallam in May 1993.
Tom is survived by two sisters, Jean Hallam Kampf of Washinton, and Eva Hallam Solberg Bruckner of Montana. There are three surviving children, Clifford Hallam of Arizona, Dennis Hallam of Montana and Helen Jean Hallam Beriault of Oregon. Tom has nine grandkids, 21 great grandkids, and one great great grandchild.
Tom was a World War II Navy veteran, a lifeguard, a Boy Scout leader, a member of the Mason, and worked for the telephone company throughout Montana for over 30 years. In his senior years he enjoyed woodworking and Arizona's sunny days.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 6 at 10 a.m. at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
