Tim Robert Kenney, 47, of Three Forks passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009. He was born Oct. 28, 1961, in Big Rapids, Mich., to Virginia and Douglas Kenney.

Tim joined the Air Force in January 1983 and served on active duty for 26 years and 3 months.

He married Jamie Carol Anderson March 26, 1987, in Brindisi, Italy. In the years to follow they welcomed three beautiful children: Athena Kathryn Kenney, Sept. 30, 1986; Timothy James Kenney, June 15, 1988; and Amanda Carol Kenney, Aug. 14, 1989.

Tim devoted his life and love to his family. His wife and children followed him around the world while in the Air Force, experiencing new adventures and cultures together as a family. They lived in Italy, Hawaii, Maryland, Japan and Alaska.

His many hobbies were numerous. Some included golfing with his father-in-law, hunting with his father, bowling with his wife and son, and camping with his daughters. He loved the close times spent with his family in Michigan and Montana.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia; his father-in-law, Jim; and two little nephews, Paul and Luke Gerring.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie; children, Athena (Charles Willis II), Amanda (Jonathan Haulbrook), and Timmy; his grandchildren, Chucky, Hailey, Riley, Johnny and Madalynn; his father, Douglas Kenney; brothers and sisters, Laurie, Douglas, Shelly, Karen, Daryl, and Della, along with their spouses and children. Tim also left behind numerous aunts and uncles.
