Tracy Renee Martin, 23, passed from life on earth into Heaven on March 18, 2016. She was surrounded by her family in Ryegate, Montana.
The Guest Book is expired.
Tracy was born Nov. 20, 1992, in Bozeman, Montana, to Alex and Roxie (Rockensock) Martin. She spent the first 15 years at Belgrade, Montana. She was in public school until 4th grade, then finished up her schooling at home and received her GED.
In 2007 her family moved to Ryegate, Montana, to a small farm place and many dreams were started. She liked working with horses. She and her sister, Trisha, bought a milk cow and learned all the steps from milking to making butter and cheeses. She liked to garden, and did beautiful rock work and crafting with barb wire. She enjoyed hunting and shot some nice bucks. She was on the Ryegate volunteer department for 7 years. Tracy enjoyed life to its fullest and she was a determined and independent young lady her entire life. There wasn't a challenge she wouldn't tackle and if she couldn't figure it out, she would ask for help.
She was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called ENB in September 2015. She went to Omaha, Nebraska, for surgery, Mexico for alternative treatment and finally back home to recover. Wherever she went, she radiated the peace and love of God. She was kind, gracious, and never complained despite of severe pain. Her favorite verse was 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind."
You will be greatly missed but we are thankful that you are HOME.
A memorial service will be held on April 2, 2016, at the Ryegate firehall at 1 p.m.
