Vivian Lee Potts, 54, passed suddenly yet peacefully at the end on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, 12:28 p.m. in Kodiak, Alaska, after a three year battle with breast cancer that unfortunately finally got the best of her.

Vivian shared her life for the last 14 years in Kodiak, Alaska, with her significant other-Dave Pontz. Dave's family took her in and they became her Kodiak family. Mother Charlotte Furgione, Sister-Katrina and Bryan Ferris, Sister Emily Furgione and other wonderful Aunts and cousins.
Vivian was born to Albert W. Potts and Jean M. (Cok) Potts on May 3, 1961, in Bozeman, Montana. She lived in Belgrade, Montana, and attended school at Manhattan Christian until she was a junior in high school then finished and graduated from Belgrade High School. She spent the better part of her adult life in Alaska working as a laborer, sheet metal worker and an insulator. Vivian is survived by Brothers Casey (Libby), Alan (Kathy) and Russ (Crystal) and Sister Beverly Tucker (Joe) along with other Uncles, Aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by Father Albert, Mother Jean, brothers-Bill, Ray and Jay and Sister Marylin.
Vivian was her own person-she had an unfaltering love of animals especially cats and had an amazing talent of growing beautiful plants both indoors and outdoors. She was loved and will be missed!
