William Jackson Kent, 42, passed away in his sleep on April 3, 2013. He was born on April 9, 1970 in Bozeman to Bruce and Helen McGinley Kent.

He attended Bozeman schools and graduated from Montana State University. After graduation he created "Boodles" Restaurant and Bar in downtown Bozeman. He owned and operated it until the explosion in 2009.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce; aunt, Carol Voegele; cousin, Irvin Kent; grandparents, Margaret and Emmett Kent and Lily and William McGinley.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church on South Black in Bozeman. Should friends desire, memorials in Jackson's name may be made to the Heart of Valley Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 11390, Bozeman, MT 59719.
