William Robert Weaver, 82, of Belgrade passed away on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Mountain View Care Center, where he had been the last month. He was born April 25, 1928, three miles north of Belgrade, the seventh of nine children, to Charles and Nora (Cowan) Weaver.

Bill attended school in Belgrade. He served in the Army in the Korean War. He worked at Yellowstone Pine Lumber Co. and Burlington Northern Railroad. He belonged to Belgrade Seniors. Bill was a quite person. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, game shows, his cat, Sam, and taking his dog, Precious, for walks.
Bill marred Mary Storer Rybolt on Jan. 2, 1971, and they lived in Belgrade the entire time.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; stepson, Doug Townsend of Massachusetts; step-daughter Cindy McDonald of California; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Frances Batchelder of Belgrade; brother, Jim (Dolla) Weaver of Belgrade; sister-in-law, Merna Slabik of Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mae Sharp, Helen Snell Pearl Linker; brothers, Buck and Cub Weaver; and one step-grandchild, Jeannie Foster.
We will miss our Bill and also want to thank the ones at Mountain View for his care and Hospice of Southwest Montana.
Graveside services will be held at Sunset Hills at a time to be announced.
