William Steven Carrier, 64, passed away of natural causes in his beloved mountains near Townsend on Oct. 17, 2010. He was born on March 31, 1946, in Edgerton, Wis., to Charles and Eleanor (Spike) Carrier.

Bill is survived by his wife, Kay; daughter, Rebecca (Jason) Smith; grandchildren, Trenton Charles Smith and Kailey Mae Smith; brothers, Charles (Lil) Carrier and Alan (Pat) Carrier; numerous extended family, nieces and nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Trailhead Christian Fellowship Church, five miles north of Townsend on Highway 12. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Trailhead Christian Fellowship.

Should friends desire, memorials in Bill's name may be made to the William Carrier Memorial Fund, c/o First Security Bank of Three Forks, P.O. Box 588, Three Forks, MT 59752.
