Willis Ray ""Pat"" Daniel, 88, of Gallatin Gateway passed away Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014.

Pat was born Dec. 18, 1925 at home in Salesville, Mont. to John Fredrick and Myra Frances (Frank) Daniel. He grew up in Gallatin Gateway and on Dec. 18, 1952, he married Norma Jean Ellison.
He enjoyed his work as a farmer and rancher, and also enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was active with the National Farmers Organization and the Kleinshmitt Canal Board. Above all else, he loved his family.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doris Beard, Isla Mae Figgins, and Ruby Vik; brother, Jim Daniel; grandchildren, Dan and Renee Bunkers; great-grandson, Jordan Bunkers; and son-in-law, Richard Morgan.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Daniel; son, Willis Jay (Linda) Daniel; daughters, Sally (Mike) Barnes, Myra Frances (Jerry) Hargrove, Maxine Daniel, and Wendy Daniel Morgan; grandchildren, Will (Nikki) Shelton, Ryan (Kelsey) Daniel, Dawn McGann, Jennifer McGann, Allen Morgan, Kayla Morgan, Rita Daniel, Becky Daniel, and Willis John Daniel; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel Olsen; sister-in-law, Dorothy Daniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26 at the Gallatin Gateway Community Center. Food, desserts and coffee will be provided.
