Wilma Ann Callantine Brandemihl Staat, 84, a lifetime resident of Bozeman, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Gallatin Rest Home. She was a fifth-generation Gallatin County resident, born May 17, 1929, in Bozeman to Oran and Esther (Bennett) Callantine.

She graduated from Gallatin County High School and later worked at White's Pharmacy, Buttrey's and KwikWay in Belgrade. She married James K. Brandemihl, and together they had two sons, Keith and Dale. She later married Leo Staat.

Wilma enjoyed music, particularly the accordion, and crafts, including painting. She loved fishing and scuba diving and above all else, loved her family, especially her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Francis and Wayne Callantine.

Survivors include her sons, James Keith Brandemihl and Alan Dale Brandemihl; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her sister, Donna Burns of Bremerton, Wash.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at Morgan Cemetery, with a picnic to follow. Please bring a dish and drinks to share.
