Betty Momenthy Obituary

Betty Z. Momenthy, 81, born 9/17/1930 in Arlington, MA. She was greatly loved and was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Betty is survived by her significant other Charles McDonald, Son Scott Momenthy 52, of Berwyn Ill., Lyndi Momenthy Horn, 48 of Fl (formerly from Keene NH) and son-n-law David Horn , Four grandchildren Christopher 26, Tucker 22, Jason 25, Alberta 15. She was predeceased by her Son Barry Momenthy and her Daughter Pamela Momenthy-Collins. There was a memorial Service at Kirkwood Presbytarian Church In Bradenton, Fl. The family will be celebrating Betty's life in a private ceremony in The Blue Ridge Mountains in the near future. In lieu of Flowers Donations may be made to Tidwell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd, Sarasota, Fl 34238.

Sorry to hear this. Betty was a good friend. We spent many times with them at their house. She was at my wedding and Baby Barry was there lying on the floor.

Lyndi and Scott, Heartfelt sympathy go out to you both. It is good to know that "Thelma and Louise" are making one more trip together. Our moms were great traveling partners and I have been enjoying looking thru all the pictures of the two of them. Your mom was a great friend to my mom for 51 years. She was a wonderful person.
