Joseph H. Tondreau

Joseph Tondreau 82, died January 13, 2013 at his home in Parrish, Fl after a long battle with CNS Lymphoma. Mr. Tondreau was born 8/17/30 in North Adams, MA to Alice (Cote) and Joseph Tondreau. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War as a radar specialist. He spent over 32 years at IBM working in New York, where he was a Director known for his acumen in logistics, before relocating to California after meeting his wife Wanda, then to Florida before retiring. His next venture came calling as Vice President of Operations at Siemens Nixdorf in Boca Raton, Fl, he saw them through the transition to Oce Printing Systems before his retirement from the business world in 1998. Mr. Tondreau and his wife, Wanda, built their retirement home in Parrish Fl where he could enjoy his favorite pastime everyday-golf. Golf, warm weather, grilling the family dinner and watching sunsets from the back patio was what he loved. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Wanda. His children from his first marriage: Marie, Kathleen Walters (Brian), Joseph (Maria), David and step children Brenda Cordell, Brian Cordell along with 16 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Cossu. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
