73, died on Aug 17, 2014, at 6:15AM of cancer at Tidewell Hospice in Bradenton. The son of Cleonic and Virginia Flock Ibasfalean, Dan was born on December 26, 1940, in Monroe, Michigan. He graduated from Manatee High School in 1959, Manatee Jr. College in 1962, and in 1971 from the University of Florida College of Architecture and Fine Arts with the degree of Bachelor of Architecture. He served in the Seabees in Vietnam. Dan was an architect and general contractor in Bradenton, Cortez, Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island. He was a member of Roser Church in Anna Maria, FL, and served on the Board of Trustees. He was predeceased by his sister, Olivia and his daughter, Jennifer. He leaves behind his wife, Bette; daughter, Amanda; sisters, Edna, Helen, and Mary; brothers, Glen, George, and John and their families. Dan also leaves behind his sweetheart of 54 years, Ginger Braune, and their dogs Heidi and Susie. A Memorial Service will be held on 2 pm Saturday, Aug 23, 2014 at Roser Chapel, 512 Pine Ave, Anna Maria, FL. A reception will follow in Fellowship Hall.
