John Anderson, born August 29, 1927 in Nashville, Illinois, went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2014. John was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He lived in Indianapolis and worked for the US Federal Finance Center at Fort Harrison until he retired and moved to Florida. He has been a resident of Sun City Center, Florida for the past several years. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Anderson; son, Don Larson (Donna); brother, Jim Anderson; sister, Millie Lietz; sister-in-law Donna Higginbotham; step daughter Cindy Thurston; step son, Rodney Templon; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, one brother, one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law. A memorial service for friends and family will be held at the Sun City Methodist Church on Saturday, January 25 at 2:00 p.m.
