Mary Jane Patterson, 74, of Wauseon, OH, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014, at Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon. She was born October 16, 1939, in Morenci, MI, to the late William and Gertrude Fern (Evers) Vereecke. She married Raymond Frank on September 7, 1957, in Lyons, OH, and he preceded her in death on March 24, 2012. Mary was a graduate of Morenci High School. She was a parishioner of the former Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Lyons, OH, and served on its Altar Rosary Society. She also belonged to the Lyons V.F.W. Ladies Auxilliary, was a group leader of the Bluebirds and Campfire Girls, and belonged to the Red Hat Society in Bradenton, FL. She earned the distinction of Caregiver of the Year in Wauseon in 2004. Surviving are a son, K. Jay Patterson of Lyons; a daughter, Chrissy Patterson of Lyons; eight grandchildren, James, Angie, Mandy, Jarred, Zach, Kaitlyn, Vicki, and Billy; and fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Ray and Charles Nelson F. Patterson; and two brothers, Charles and Renee Vereecke. A Mass of Chrisitan Burial for Mary Jane Patterson will be celebrated on Saturday, August 9, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon with Father Bob Holden as celebrant. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery near Lyons. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, from 5-8 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci.
