    - Steve Pearce

89, of Bradenton, Florida, passed into eternal life on March 13, 2016. Born in Albany, Indiana, to Myron Lee and Frona Ivalou Way, she married Cadillac, Michigan native James R. Comp, Jr. on June 7, 1947, and they together owned and operated the Blue Gingham Inn located just outside of Cadillac. They relocated to Bradenton, Florida in 1967 where she was employed at the Manatee County Health Department until she retired. Madge so enjoyed music, plays, and reading, but above all loving her four daughters. She will be remembered most for her dry wit, sparkly spirit and a more than grateful heart. Madge is survived by and will be dearly missed by her daughters Laura Comp, Teresa Hawkey and Sylvia Sebastian, as well as two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, an infant son, her husband, sister, a daughter and three grandchildren. Her remains will be interred in Cadillac's Maple Hill Cemetery
