Billy R. Tucker, On September 26, 2012 Billy R. Tucker passed away at the age of 80 in Rock Hill, SC. He was born in Sophia, NC on March 20, 1932 to Ray and Retta Mae (Carrick) Tucker. He lived in Greensboro most of his life but also spent some of his years in Charleston WV and Bradenton, Fl. He graduated from High Point High School, served as 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, at-tended High Point College and UNC Chapel Hill. He spent most of his career in Professional Management as a financial consultant. His hobby of travel took him around the world several times. He especially enjoyed a great game of Craps. Billy is survived by his 3 children; Sherron M. Candelaria, William Robert (Cindy) Tucker and Susan Tucker (Joe) Papalia; 5 grandchildren Melissa Tucker Keates, Christine Tucker Stafford, Ryan Candelaria, Lindsey Candelaria and Sterling Madison Pope and 2 great-grandchildren; Alden Keates and Jackson Keates. He is also survived by a sister; Patsy Tucker Queen and a brother; Rayvon Tucker. Cremation has taken place and at Billy's request there will be no service.
