Cassandra Alease Bennett lovingly known as "Casey" was born October 3, 1960 in Norwalk, Connecticut to Dolores Richardson and the late Clarence Sanderson. Monday, November 7, 2016, God sounded the Trumpet for her return home. Casey obtained her GED and attended the University of Bridgeport where she received her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She held the position of CNA for 22 years. She relocated to Florida in 1994 and her most recent place of employment was at Beneva Lakes Health Care and Rehab Center in Sarasota, Florida. Anyone who knew her, knew how dedicated she was to her employer, team members, and clients. She was all about giving more than she ever received. Casey was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who went above and beyond for them all; Her family meant the world to her. Casey was loved by everyone who was blessed to be graced by her presence. Predeceased by her son: Jesse Rembert Jr. and Stepfather: Clarence Riley.; She leaves treasured memories to her Mother: Delores Richardson; Grandmother: Mary Richardson; Children: Tomeka Sanderson, Jason Rembert (Naresa), CiJi Sanderson (CJ (predeceased)), Vanddi Sanderson, Jarelle Sanderson; Goddaughters: Latrofia Williams and Daninelle Jenkins (all residing in Florida); Siblings: Robert (Linda) Riley (Connecticut), Debbie Riley (Kentucky), Calvin (Kim) Riley (Connecticut), Bruce Sanderson (Connecticut), Denita Sanderson (Georgia), Gaylen Sanderson (Connecticut); (Sis./Special Friends): Donna Jenkins and Viola Holley (Both of Florida); 16 Grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters; Special Cousin: Michelle Ebron and a host of family and friends.
