(90), formerly of Bradenton, passed away on March 14, 2016 at the Winter Haven Hospital. "Cat" was born June 2, 1925 in Palmetto, Florida. She was the 8th and youngest surviving child of Pietro "Peter" and Maria Iozzi DeVito. Several years ago she moved to Haines City, Florida to live with her niece Virginia Edwards and her husband Bob. "Pete", as she was known growing up, graduated from Palmetto High School in May 1945. She began working at J.C. Penney's Company where she advanced to the position of office manager. Cat retired from Penney's in 1987 with over 40 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her many friends and most of all her extended family. Cat is predeceased by her parents, sisters Angialina "Angie" Colonneso, Maria Margherita Elena "Maggie" Wenger and Sarafina "Jo" Demos as well as her brothers Nicalina "Nick", Vincenzino "Jimmy", Albino "Al" and Santo "Sam". Cat is survived by over 100 nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, great-great nieces/nephews and great-great-great nieces/nephews. Funeral services will be held at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in the Chapel, 3100 26th Street W in Bradenton on April 30th at 10:00am with burial following at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Avenue E, Bradenton.
