94, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016, at his home in Bradenton, Florida. He was born on March 14, 1921, in Pollard Arkansas, and was the son of the late Daniel Meek and Santa Fe (Mooney) Holcomb. He was united in marriage to Kathleen Lorraine Camp on February 2, 1944, and to this union three children were born. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Holcomb on September 22, 2002; his parents; his son, Gerald Holcomb; three brothers: Sydney Holcomb, Raleigh Holcomb, and Wayland Holcomb; four sisters: Tula Winningnear, Marie Vaden, Murriel Davis, and Floy Cooksey. Survivors include his sons: Andrew A. Holcomb and Rodney R. Holcomb; four grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas. Burial is in Holcomb Cemetery near Pollard, Arkansas. Visitation will begin Saturday at 12:00 p.m. until service time.
