Age 88, of Ellenton, Florida, passed on up to Heaven on January 3, 2016. Dea was put to rest on January 11, 2016 in Pittsburgh, PA in Jefferson Memorial Park. Dea was born on January 14, 1928 in Mt Carmel, PA. A graduate of Harrisburg PA Senior High School, moved to Pittsburg, PA, was a member of a charismatic prayer group in Saint Mary of the Mount Church, member of the church choir, served as a minister of the Eucharist for the church and for 3 hospitals for the Pastoral Services of Pittsburgh. Dea became a lead singer-member of the Sweet Adelines chapter. The chapter sang in Royal Prince Albert Hall in London, England.

Dea became a clown and entertained children at Pittsburgh children's Hospital and at other charities. She moved to Florida in 2000, joined St Frances Cabrini Church in Parrish, FL, was a member of the church choir, and volunteered to distribute "Meals on Wheels" to handicapped people. Dea joined the Red Hat Group in Colony Cove called the "Vivacious Red Hats". She was also a member of Harmony Hall Club that created articles for under privileged children. Dea is survived by her husband, Andrew J Swast of Ellenton, Florida - Richard Blosser of Harrisburg, PA and Janet Papciak of Houston, Texas.
