Edward Fredrick Wolff, 93, passed away Nov. 25, 2016. He was born Apr. 28, 1923 to Ed & Tressa (Dietz) Wolff in Tarentum, PA. He married Florence Arner Jun. 12, 1943 & served in the Army Air Corps 1943 - 1946. He worked as a machinist & was a member of the AFL-CIO. Ed is survived by his son, Ed Wolff of Stevensville, MT & daughter, April Smith (Garry) of Parrish, FL; grandchildren Rick, Scott, Gretchen, Tressa & Shannon; great grandchildren Ben, Sarah, Daniel, Avery, Emmett, Liam, Rory & Rileigh. He was predeceased by his wife Florence, in 2011; his parents; & his sisters, Gail and Myrle. Ed and Florence moved from Tarentum, PA to Lake Alfred, FL in 1955; Brooksville, FL in 1986; and Bradenton, FL in 2008. Along the way many happy memories were created and retold at family gatherings. Ed was a beloved father & grandfather, and will be missed. Services will be announced at a later date. Burial will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery.
