Evelyn Esther Fredenburgh, 91, died Sept. 26, 2016. She was born in Little Westkill, NY and lived in Manatee since 1952. Her nursing career began in NY. She worked for Manatee Memorial Hospital and became a private nurse. She opened a nursing home in Palmetto, FL where she lived 27 years. Her residence was in Bradenton upon retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Fredenburgh, Sr.; brother Robert Delamarter; and daughter Anna Mae Allen. Survivors include her son Raymond Fredenburgh, Jr. of Lafayette, GA; daughters Lillian Palmer of Lake Placid, FL and Celia Fradkin of Bradenton, FL; sisters Doloris Hollis of Baltimore, MD, Winefred McAlpin and Beatrice Rhoden both of Georgetown, TN; 7 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be on Sat., Oct. 1st from 10 AM-12 PM and will be immediately followed by the funeral at 12 PM at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Bradenton.
