long time resident of Bradenton, passed away November 17, 2015 at the age of 93. He was born in Fairfield, Florida to Emma Miriam Yongue Jones and Thomas Claude Jones. Henry Claude was a member of The Army Air Corps during World War 11 and spent his service in the South Pacific and India. During his tour of duty, Claude's knowledge of tides enabled him to save the lives of 2 airmen stranded on a coral reef. Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister, Miriam, and his wife of over 60 years, Katherine Loggins. He is survived by brothers Edward of Spring Hill, Clark and wife, Bobbie of Spring Hill and Charles and wife Bette Jean of Bradenton. Claude shall be sadly missed by his daughter, Katherine Ruth and husband Al Asbury of Wesley Chapel, grandson Scott Mizel and wife Janet of Claremont, granddaughter Ashley and husband Tim Polster of Miami and great-grandchildren, Jason and Sarah Polster and Katelyn and Katheryn Mizel plus many nieces and nephews. There will be a family gathering at the Palma Sola Community Church Cemetery on the 12th of December at 11:00 A.M.
